I just ordered one via revzilla and hope to have it Friday. I originally ordered a medium but when I tried it on it was way too snug. I used the measuring method they recommended but it was too small. I wear a small in KBC and a medium in Shoei/HJC/Scorpion (700).

Anyway, the reviews seem promising. I am looking for a helmet with all-day comfort aka a touring helmet. My Shoei X-11, while a fantastic race helmet ended up rubbing the lower parts of my ears raw on the 850 mile ride I did a few weeks ago. And while it is very light and vents well, it became uncomfortable.

The features that draw me to the Scorpion EXO-1100 are: ECE rating, built-in retractable sun visor, easy shield swap.

If this helmet doesn't fit well, I will probably try the Shoei Qwest.

If you wear a medium in the EXO-700, you will need a large in the Scorpion 1100. I wore a large in a 700 and had to go to xl in a 500. And this is a snug fit without using the inflatable cheek pads.
I really like mine.
Good luck with yours..

I guess I forgot to mention that I exchanged for a large and should get it Friday. Oops.

I've got one and like it. You've already figured out the one catch to them, they run small. I knew going in and ordered a 2xl and it fits like my XL Shoei's. Good helmet for the money for sure. Think you'll be happy once you get the correct size. ::003::

I find it odd that Scorpion would adjust their sizing across the helmet line. I have two Scorpion helmets, an Exo-700 and a VX-34. Both are larges, and both fit extremely well. I was just looking at the Exo-1100 the other day online, and now I'm going to have to try one on to see about sizing. It just doesn't make sense that Scorpion would adjust the sizing away from their existing helmet lines, too much confusion can result. Unless they weren't true to the measurements to start with for some reason, then an adjustment would make sense.

I'm curious to hear thoughts on the Exo-700 vs. the Exo-1100 when you get it.

The 700 fits me better. Even the large didn't fit me as well as I had hoped. I knew that even after break-in it would not work. So, I sent it back.

I'm still hunting for a long distance helmet.
