My local Yamaha dealer mentioned when shooting the sh^t that they have another ST12 customer who rides 12K miles a year and he swears by them and its the only tire he uses. Personally, my bike only has just over 2K miles on it so still on the OEM tires but I will give these a try when I need new tires.

I've not yet found a situation on the road where the Anakee3 didn't have plenty of grip. That includes hard loaded runs through twisties as well as fully unloaded.

If these are better, they should really stick :)

The tire shop had both the Anakee Road and Road 6s in stock. I checked them out and ended up going with the Road 6s because they just looked beefier and more substantial for 90 bucks more. The 5s gave me over 10,000 miles with decent handling till the end so I'm expecting similar bang for the buck.

Had the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II installed, incredible grip on both dry and wet road.
The mileage surprised me very pleasantly. Glad with the advise.
No interest for me writing this, just a happily surprised user..
Is already my second set and will surely go for a third…

My local shop doesn't list a 110 front tire option for that, only a 120.

I really like the Anakee Roads.
I just finished a rear one off omw back from Colorado today actually; just got home from Kansas. Did 4000 miles total on my trip in the last week.
Awesome dry grip, awesome wet grip, awesome road tire all around. Buddies road to his place is 20 minutes of shit maintenance roads in the dirt and rocks, did that 5 days in a row. I think they are awesome all around, being my 1st set of motorcycle tires ever.
I got just over 9k on the rear; it's all highway miles. I checked the tire pressure every few days to a week tops. Kinda disappointed in the short life, but not sure how normal that really is. Front tire looks like is has another 7-10k based on how it looks.
