Tank covers are typically either leather of vinyl and cover most if not all of the exposed "tank". I the case of Bagster, they include a full line of tankbags that can be attached to connection points on the cover.
Got it. Thanks. I've seen those on road bikes, but never considered one for an off road because of the trapped dirt dulling/rubbing the paint. Didn't BMW once call that a "Bra"?
Johnnail, i will second the Bagster. I have used them and it is a pretty tight fit onto the paint. I never had much dirt under mine, but i wasn't taking the ST1100 off road at all either. I am going with the Bags COnnection City with the quick release adapter.
