Hi I was curious, if anyone has ridden in this area from HWY 20 outside of Tonasket down Aneas Valley , West Sandpoil to Gold creek to HWY 21. I was up there the other day but was short on gas so only ran up the Gold Creek area to the Bridge. Thanks I plan on doing this July 9 a day trip from Spokane there and back in a day.

Your request interested me. I have been trying to get to that area for the last three years. Here is a quick loop http://goo.gl/maps/Pcz2z that should be fun at times and if you are a camper there is good camping in the area. I hope to get there in the next couple months.

Late notice but I am going to do the Aeneas Valley ride from Spokane on July 9, any East siders or anyone that wants to do a long day let me know. Looks like 2 of us so far probably around a 450-500 mile day starting early around 0700 and be back in Spokane when we get back that night. We will be riding mostly back roads from Spokane to Hwy 25 north to Inchelium/Gifford Ferry Taking Bridge Creek road to Hwy21 N to Gold Creek road to W Sandpoil rd to Aeneas Valley rd to Hwy20 and depending on time either Tonasket to Omak Hwy 155 back or Hwy 20 to Republic to 21 S back across Ferry and back to Spokane. Looks to be 40-55 miles on the dirt. Will stop somewhere for quick lunch but bring lots of snacks and water. Will GoPro some of ride and post when done. Should be a fun ride and gonna check out some roads in the Area for maybe a camp and scout at a later date.

So how did it go? I've been up in that area before (roads around Swan Lake) but got turned back for one reason or another. I've heard Aenas valley rd is pretty nice, but some of the connectors ( where I was riding) are a bit rough.
