I have had my factory pegs on for the last 45k miles and generally have no complaints with them other than when my boot gets muddy or slippery from wet crossings. Thinking about upgrading to something with more traction and surface area for comfort while standing. Primarily want them for more safety so my feet don't slip off from the slime on the bottom of my bots out of the Central Texas low water crossings, but also hoping that they cut down on fatigue from my longer standing riding sessions off road.
Anyone installed the IMS ADV 1 footpegs on their Super Tenere? I feel positive that I'll love them, but I'm specifically interested in finding out if folks have had to replace/modify their shift and rear brake levers (?). Also, do they ADV pegs still fold up? I think I read something about them not folding up in a tip over.
