I believe Corbin is on it. JJ (the guy on another thread about mounting Clearview Kristas and Glendas) tells me Corbin has his S10 in their shop to develop a seat.

I loaned them a bike of mine a few years ago for the same thing. If the timing is the same, we should see pictures and prices on their site in a month or two.
That's great news! Either a Corbin or a Sargent would work for me!

I couldn't find a "JJ" on the member list. If you know him, could you contact him to see the status of things with Corbin? Maybe he would know more details about when we might expect to see something.

That would sure be great news if Corbin was going to have something soon. ;D

My 2 cents - Rick did my seat on the BMW RT, he said I get it back in 4 weeks - it took 6 weeks, but what a change - for the good that is, the wife loves her half (she really hated the stock seat on the Beemer) but I've did my iron butt with it and my knees and neck hurt - not my a$$. I would highly recomend him just plan for it to take longer than advertised...... do it in your off season.

Being in Chicago I usually have a pretty long off season. Most of Dec, Jan and Feb are totally shot because there is usually snow on the ground, or ice, both of which I try to avoid. So I may wait a while and see if Corbin comes out with something by then, or order from Rick Mayer in January and hope the whole process doesnt take more than 2 months. I can last the rest of this season on the stocker

Sorry, his name is JJ Moto Addict. He just started a thread on Corbin with some more information.

Thanks for the welcomes here. In my racing days when I was shorter in the tooth and even unfortunately in my later street days I was on the receiving end of some rather "colourful" riding "offs". I've carried the High Side badge with some humour and proudness over the years.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but I have liked so far what I have read about this Super Tenere. I turned 45 this week and as much as it kills me to accept, my biking needs seem to be changing. I'm looking for something that will provide a little more comfort on the long haul as well as reliability. That said, I'm not willing to give up the thrill factor either. I have really enjoyed the KTM 990 Adventure and I love my R1, but if I thought that the Tenere could still get the heart pumping, provide more comfort, and still allow me out on the dirt for my fix, there maybe a change coming soon to the stable. I'll have to source a dealer ride day this spring. I will be spending lots of time here. I tend to take a crash (pardon the pun) course on learning about a model of a bike before purchasing.

See ya around.
