I liked the Corbin seat I had on my 2012 for open road riding. Now, when it came to off road riding, I didn't like it at all. the seat was slick and under tight maneuvering, I kept sliding around on the seat especially during braking.
I have this exact same issue with the seat. Really tempted to drop the $60 to buy tank pads for the knees to prevent me from sliding forward but not sure how effective they'll be.

Does the Corbin fix the forward tilt of the stock seat eliminating the need for the bumper mod? I've had corbins on two other bikes now, and like them.
Anyone? I'm close to pulling the trigger on one but can't find anything on the angle with out directly contacting Corbin

It fixes the tilt a bit. It mostly feels like you're sitting farther back. I'm not sure it doesn't make me want risers or bar-backs or whatever.
Thanks for the update! Is it any more comfortable in your opinion?

The tank pads for your knees help a bunch for the sliding issue. I have always had a set on my 2012 and 2014.

I've got one on the S10 I just bought, and it has a forward tilt. I haven't looked into what I can do about it, but I will shortly, and I'll report back.

Ok, I'm back from the garage, where I dremeled off about 70% of the high position plate thing's rear stand-offs. Voila- no more forward tilt.

I'm pretty sure there's a more elegant solution, plus it's a little wobbly, so I'll probably do something about that, but so far so good.

Does it also solve the terrible fit between the front and rear portions of the seat in the high position?

I had no fit issue in either position, so I can't comment. It is a little wobbly, and I'm not sure why yet. It's not at all wobbly riding it, so I don't care much, but I would like it to be properly snug.
