any maine, new hampshire, vermont riders here?

Im from the land of taxes NY and will be heading north east with my father in a few weeks. We have 6-7 days to ride around up there and was wondering if anyone knew any place cool to ride to. I have a 13 S10 and my dad will be on his fjr so nothing too crazy off road wise. The only thing I wanted to do was to ride to the coast of maine and see the ocean. Other than that we are nomads for a week.

That should give you enough time to explore coastal Maine, after fighting traffic head inland towards Greenville and spend a couple days exploring the Moosehead lake region, when ready to hd out.... run up to Jackman and then down 201 to 16 West towards NH.

Moose Head Lake is a beautiful area....if you get time head over to Mt, Dessert Island Bar Harbor/ Acadia NP. The park loop road is worth the trip! I think the park fee is only $5 for a week for MCs. You also might want to do some riding in the NH White Mtns..

I always enjoy the ride up VT RT 100 in and a side trip over Smugglers Notch near Stowe. Detail maps of VT will show a lot of unpaved maintained local roads to explore. Winter raises havoc with the tarmac so gravel is the surface of choice for local roads in the northern rural areas.
