Looking to see if anyone has gotten a '15 yet. I put an order in the middle of January and am still waiting. I realize the weather is not co-operating but it shouldn't take this long unless there's just none out there yet. Dealer just sent me a E-mail telling me it's coming, ya that's what you said before. The price was great so I want to give him some leeway, but damn when I pick it up I'm instantly heading to the sunshine for a long overdue two wheel vacation. Also will we be adding Red to the color choice topic? Red does trump with the ladies, even if it's dirty. ::025:: ::025::

I picked mine up two weeks ago and the red is a great color for this bike. Sorry about your weather, out here weather is NEVER an issue! Earthquakes maybe.

Yes, I picked up a red one in January and rode it home in 19 degree weather. It's been sitting in the garage ever since due to the wheather. I love the red color!! I do plan to do a trip to CO this summer and can't wait! ::015::

I pick mine up tomorrow (6th) ::012::
and can't wait ! I have the matte grey one and my Yoshimura end can is at Heathrow stuck in customs so i will have to wait to fit that next week.
Looks like it will take a while to settle on some suspension settings - still can't work out why i can't adjust front and rear seperatly but am willing to trust Yamaha's interpritation of what it thinks i want (as everyone else says it just works and there seems to be no complaints on here so far)

I am looking at one, kinda far for me to go but the price $13,852 OTD, not including taxes and lic, is very tempting to me. The red really pops, reminds me of the 70's.

I now officially own a 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere ES #347. Can't tell you how awesome it is as I've only ridden it 100' yes that's one hundred feet, from the backdoor of the dealership to a ramp and on to the back of my truck. Oh and off the back of my truck into a snowbank were I proceeded to dig it out to ground level, about three feet deep. There was no other way, too much ice to try to use my ramps, and that was after a 14 hour work day , I kid you not. Tomorrow it might get up to 40F just might run it around the block. She's just stock but there are lots of things I want to do it. As a Toolmaker by trade I find that making thing like crash bars, lowering links, luggage racks, skid plates and a usable kickstand come to mind. Off to the drawing board.

Remember- Ride like your life depends on it, because it does.

My dealer is getting mine in next month, I got the word yesterday.
I am getting a good trade in and upgrading to an 2015 ES.
My bags and accessories will have to be swapped over, should not be an issue.
I will be adding new OEM tall screen and the deflectors of course.
I am pretty stoked.

Sure seems like there is evidence of continual Tenere sales. Like there is a steady rhythm, to it.

I suspect that as time goes by, press marketing sales are being replaced by reputation sales.
That's a good thing. :)
