I have looked in both the shop manual and the owners manual and have not found any specification for anti-freeze. Will just any automotive antifreeze work?

Not to mention it holds itself together longer than any AF I have ever used in a bike.p4 said:Another big fan of Engine Ice here. Using it in all of my bikes now. They all love it.
It is more expensive, but its better in many ways.
They advertise that it keeps engines cooler. I does mine. Not a ton, but noticeable. Every little bit helps.
One of the HUGE plusses for me is that it is non-toxic. Propylene glycol instead of Ethylene glycol.
If you do go with the Engine Ice, be sure to drain every little bit of your old coolant from your bike's system. Its a really good thing to do a distilled water flush, too.
I buy it in 5 gallon jugs from Amazon. A chunk of $, but its the cheapest way to buy it for me having 5 water-cooled bikes to worry about.
Hope this helps.

A couple of bucks less than when I bought it last. Less than 1/2 the price per gallon of Wally World.
$29.26 per gallon w/ no tax versus $63.98 per gallon plus tax.
