Another Madstat question

I have just bought a wrecked 2014 with extensive front end damage. The complete windshield assy is ruined. I can salvage a lot of the bolts, grommets, etc, but will need to buy all of the hard parts to rebuild the assembly and associated plastic pieces around it. Does anyone have a 2014/15 windshield mounting bracket that they have swapped for a Madstat, and would like to part with? I would rather buy one from a member here and do us both a favor, than get a new OEM one.

This raises another question that someone may be able to help me with. I currently have a Madstat bracket on my 2012 and was wondering if I can mount that on my 2014 main bracket (same part number as the '12) and have ample clearance for the '14 gauges? Both the headlight assy and the meter assy are missing on the '14 wreck, so I have no way of knowing if the '14 gauges will clear the '12 windshield bracket.

Thanks,
Scott

To answer one part of your question, you can use the 2012 Madstad bracket on the 2014 as the windshield 'forks' are the same, but you would have to use a 2012 screen on the braket as the 2014 screen uses different mounting holes for the 2014 adjustable bracket. They will be the odd plastics that are on the 2014 and not on the 2012, but these spoilers or skirts are not going to make a difference if you use the Madstad anyway.

Gotcha, thanks.
My main concern however, is if I mount a 2012 windshield setup, will it interfere with the 2014 meter assy. I have no way of knowing as all that stuff is missing right now. I know for instance, the accessory wind deflectors are different between the 12 and 14 even though the panels they bolt to are identical which means the windshield is in a different position compared to a 12.

If the madstadt has the cross bar, it will make it hard to see the turn signals depending on your height. You will still need the windshield bracket that is on the motorcycle to mount the madstadt bracket to though. You probably already knew that.
