Another Canuk - Ontario

Hi all. I'm mot an owner yet, just looking into it. I've been riding V-Stroms for the past 9 seasons, as well as my DRZ400. I'm considering changing up to a Tenere. Anyone know of any already in dealers around southern Ontario? My local dealer has some coming, including one that is not sold, but is unsure of deliver date. I saw one at the spring bike show, but I'd like to sit on one again before making a decision. Being 6'6" leg room is my biggest concern.

Welcome John. I am 6'1" and with the seat in the high setting I am almost flatfoot with the preload set stock, about in the middle. As far as leg room I think you will be ok @ 6'6" seated. If you plan on standing I think no doubt you will need bar risers and maybe tall bars.

Thanks for the welcome guys. After consideration, I thought it would be best to put off purchase at least until spring. My thinking was there may be a little more flexibility in price when the bike becomes more readily availablle through the regular order system. Now I've read MSRP may be going up. Hmm, has me wondering again. I'm also looking at purchasing in the US and importing to Canada, as the msrp here is $16,500.00 and every dealer I've talked to is sticking to it. US however, seems there are some available less than $13,000.00. That's a lot of farkling. So thoughts are back to the Tenere
