I finished the install of my Clearwater Erica LED Lights which have replaced my PIAA's with just weren't cutting it.

Okay first things first, these lights are not cheap at $1,300AUD if your just looking for some lights to throw a little bit more light down the road or make you more visible there are much cheaper options that will work fine.

If on the other hand you want to turn night into day which was my goal these are the lights to do it. The disclaimer in the instructions states these lights are for off road use due to their brightness dazzling other drivers. When I tested them in the middle of the day on the lowest setting they were bright enough to dazzle me and leave me seeing stars for a minute or so afterwards.

On there brightest low beam setting the Ericas are amazingly bright, but it gets better kick the high beams on and they go Super Nova.

So if you are looking for the best LED lights money can buy the clearwater's are the lights you are looking for and worth every cent. I'll try to get some pictures up soon, but I will have to dig my DSLR out to take some decent pics with fixed exposure.

You'll need that with all those psychotic 'roos down there. Probably as bad as our white-tailed deer. I have to wonder about the placement. Like Patrick, I fall over and if I spent $1,300 on a set of lights, I would protect them as much as possible. They would be damaged in a tipover or simple low-side very easily in that position.

Mine are mounted up under the headlight and well protected. I wouldn't mount them on the forks or engine bars myself either.
