Removed them from my former bike, the Pan European ST1300.
Shitty levers, these short ones. The oem were exactly right for the purpose.

Have it anyway you want it, but shorties are operated with two fingers only.
Imagine how much brakeforce you generate with two fingers only…
Chances are all against you in case of an emergency..
(I would not reduce the length of my hammer handle by half…..)

(Note: NOT my bike, that’s a blue one, but this is what it could look like braking too late/inadequate..)

ASV levers (standard size) on my S10. Absolute works of art and they function beautifully.
IMHO worth every penny of their premium pricing.

I bought a shorty front brake lever off a guy here.... Thought it weird him selling it (looked new).... 1st trip around the block I knew why.... Only bike a shorty lever has severly affected braking. The lack of front braking was scary and I immediately put the oem lever back on. I later went shorty ASV clutch lever and standard ASV brake lever. Hope you have better luck with that shorty.

No idea what make it is but I've had a shorty brake lever for years and love it. It has way more than enough leverage to easily go into anti-skid. What I like is how the adjustment settings go right to where I want it set.

Yeah, it was weird. It was an ASV, so not sure what the issue was and I even contacted them about it. I run shorties on most of my bikes, so not an issue with shorties themselves. Theyre fully adjustble and tried all settings, I guess maybe an issue with the leverage at the pivot point section on master cylinder. I threw it in the trash.
