hey folks, lurker here for a couple of years. I have a question. I have purchased 2014 es sitting at Romney's in West Virgina. Going to be picking up the bike in the beginning of June ( live in S. Fl. and couldn't get time off work). Anyways I purchased an Altrider luggage rack and have two questions. Will it fit on a 2014 also I'm driving a rental car up to get the bike and driving the bike back. What tools will I need to take off the stock luggage rack to replace it with the Altrider rack? Also does anybody have some good roads to drive back south, looking to stay off the interstate.

Nothing has changed on the 2014's in the luggage rack area, so the AltRider rack will bolt right up. You will need a 6mm Allen wrench to take off the stock rack and a 5mm Allen wrench and a 13mm wrench to install the AltRider rack. I would recommend assembling the two parts of the AltRider rack first and then mounting it on the bike, which is contrary to the AltRider directions. Also, a 5mm Allen T-Handle wrench will make things easier than the usual L shaped Allen wrenches.
