Alt Rider Luggage Rack with OEM Top Case

Has anyone bolted the OEM top case to the ALT Rider luggage rack? The factory mount system broke on my Tenere and I'm looking for something stronger to support the top case!

I have not but I have seen many OEM top cases mounted to the AltRider Rear Rack. The AltRider rear rack is well made and very tough.

Put the touratech piece on mine. also bulletproof. had givi outback 42l on it for 5000 mi. that piece itself weighs 13lb. just mounted a 46l kappa(10lbs) sideways on it. fits between oem panniers w no room to spare.

But it broke 5 days into the TAT and I just hard bolted the topbox to the AltRider rack and it made it 5000 more miles to Oregon

I did it ages back using Altrider cubby hole rack. Some might think it's a bit high but I likes it. Done thousands of touring miles with it n no probs. Rock solid...
