Spring cometh, sometime soon maybe, so Aldi are doing various specials on Biking gear wef Sunday 20 March.

For instance, the Garmin 340LM WE SatNav - now superceded, but £200 with a mounting kit & LT maps sounds fair (RRP c £350).
Boots £30, Gloves £20, Wets, Base layers - OK not top notch branded, but acceptable as a back-up or commuting.
It's fair to say we can all be brand snobs at times, but I used one of their £20 tank bags for years & it's still going strong.
