Wa-a-a-at? You were looking for one of these just the other day. Too loud?
Too loud? No, not at all. I am looking for a different kind of sound.
I listened to a lot of videos and sound clips. You really can't tell if you are going to like it, unless it's right there on your bike, IMO.

Wow I'm surprised, I have one and get alot of comments on how nice it sounds, almost a quiet tough rumble. It does take some time to breakin, about 1000-1500miles to get the true note out of it. Too me sounds better then some of them annoying rattle slip-ons, in little time they just become loud.

There is, you need to remove the rivets holding the end cap. (carbon fiber cap).
Once that is removed you will find the two DB are being held in by a screw or tack weld at each.
You then either remove the screws, one at each DB or drill out the tack.
Then with a pair of pliers each DB can be removed.
Lastly you just rivet the end cap back into place and your good to go.
Last week we did a BMW 1250 with the Akra slip on, pulled the DB out, easy job and one sweet sound.

Before I go tearing into this thing, I have a question: are the dB killers on the inside of the riveted in metal part of the end cap? I do not see any inside the two exhaust tubes or outside them underneath the carbon fiber cover. You can't really see in this picture, but with a strong light, it shows there is nothing there.
Maybe the newest European noise and emission regulations are catching up with us scoff laws who want a little more sound.20231031_044420.jpg

I would think that the slip-on are very similar, the one we did is a 2023 GS1250, pipes and Akra slip-on with a tune.
We haven't done an S10 but it is in the plans to do my personal S10. Just waiting for the pipes.
