Has anyone tried this http://stores.advmonster.com/h7-r3-led-headlight/ H7 LED bulb? I would like to go to an LED headlight, but I haven't found any information on this product's use on a Tenere. It is a rather unique design, using a mesh heatsink protruding out of the back.

I see it also comes with a rubber grommet to take the place of the OEM cap on the rear of the headlight housing. Any thoughts on whether that would provide an adequate seal? Would that even be an issue? I know Cyclops provides larger hard caps to seal their LED.

Thank you for any of your thoughts.

As you probably know Your link says the light is currently unavailable. At $65 per bulb that's $130 for a set and I don't know if there is a shipping fee added on ? Says 4800 lumens from a pair and I'm not sure what that means, if it means 2 bulbs that's a lot less light than a pair of the Cyclops which is 6400 lumens. I installed the $160 Cyclops LED kit in my Tenere a couple thousand miles ago and so far couldn't be happier with the results.

Thanks for the replies. I believe the 4,800 lumens is supposed to be from one unit that has two LED emitters on it. Although I just read it again and the description talks about a high and low beam, so something is not right with the description.

Yes, I see they are out of stock and I don't know, at this point, if that is a temporary condition. My interest in these was mostly due to not having to have a fan for cooling. The extra lumens, allegedly 9,600 for the pair vs 6,400 for the Cyclops LEDS, would be a bonus.

I thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has tried them.
