Hi folks,

As per the postings on another thread, this weekend I gave my mate Cliff a helping hand at the launch of the Adventure Bike Shop, Acton, Sudbury, Suffolk. His location is listed on the web site http://www.adventurebikeshop.co.uk. It was a fun weekend, and although the weather was not kind we still had a pretty decent turn-out with lots of happy punters. Here are a few photos of the weekend...

The outside of the shop on Saturday, with a little snow around but quite a few customers (including someone on a mighty fine silver First Edition S10)...

Another view of some of the bikes that turned up in sub zero temps...

Another nice pair of Yams. There were a lot of them about!

A warm welcome awaited people when they arrived over the weekend. Tea, coffee, bacon rolls, biscuits...

The main man, Cliff, waxing lyrical about his products. Nice "Lemmy" facial hair too, huh?

Some people having a coffee and looking at the range of Klim gear on display, Proving very popular...

A view across the shop showing some of the Touratech offerings as well as a Tiger 800 and F650GS with Jesse panniers, Famsa tank sets etc. Lots of Wolfman and Ventura stuff too...

Cliff built this upper level just to have the space to show tents. A great idea, with several people buying the Redverz (was Nomad) tents this weekend... including me!

The vast vestibule area of the Redverz tent. Plenty of room to have a table and 4 chairs in there, and over 6 feet tall too...

The front view of the Redverz, with a packed version on the floor. about 6 kilos packed, and compact too. Not the lightest but a VAST tent for the pack size...

Here I am passing the time with a couple of friends / customers. Lots of goodies on the wall as well as on the bikes, with more to come...

I will be helping Cliff out some weekends through the year, especially when he needs to be out of town at trade shows. I will then get to play at shopkeeper. The place is currently open Tuesday to Saturday, but I think this will change to include Sundays too very shortly as there is a bike cafe about 100 yards away that is rammed in the warmer months...

If you want to know anything else check the web site http://www.adventurebikeshop.co.uk, and this will be updated very soon and have a new look too. How do I know? I have volunteered to help!!

Regards,

Matt
