I am a Florida independent agent and can attest that Progressive does have competitive rates in Florida . Also based on my experience as an insured and representing them as an agent their claims handling is good.

I am with Allstate and my Super T started off as a YZ450F and has now ended up as a VMX12 ::010:: I told the agent that I just rode a YZ450F, and besides being about 325 lbs lighter it does not resemble the Super T in any way, so you need to get your records straight. In the mean time am I insured? "Oh yes you are". So then I get a letter from the CA DMV stating "or records show that you do not have proper insurance on this vehicle". So now after a fix it now or else letter, I got confirmation that I am insured but they still have yet to figure out what a Super Tenere is in their system. ::024::
