I already have a King of Fleece seat cover over a gel pad that is ment for the Tenere seat shape, but it has never been that comfy on a long ride. My problem is the front of the seat is too narrow for my 6' 1' 200 lb frame. I tried the Sargent seat, but it felt like my junk was sitting on a rail, far too firm and narrow. So for £38, about $50? I thought I would try a wide, cruiser sized gel pad from M&P via ebay. Yesterday I went for a 120 mile ride and it works, no pinching at the inside of my thighs and nicely supported elswhere. Not a great distance, but enough to know it's a big improvement.

Hi Grumpy, what brand/model is that? They have Jusit and Hebe...
The ebay link for the gel is:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Motorbike-GEL-Seat-Cushion-Comfort-Pad-Black-Size-XLarge-13-5-x17/142472856545?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

The cover website is:

http://kingoffleece.com/waterproof-seat-covers.html

I firstly contacted king of fleece to make sure they had a cover that would fit a solo S10. This was a few years ago, but they now show the S10 at the bottom of the W25"×L15" list.

Thanks ::008::, looking at your pics, does the seat raise up in the center channel (so that you butt cheeks fall lower than the crack)?

No, it's a thumb width groove so your tail bone etc. is not under pressure. It's hard to see under the gel's own cover but you can feel it. It's not deep.

I get a numb arse after only a short time due to tail bone pressure with the stock saddle too. My Vstrom had a custom seat by a bloke called Tony Archer and that was superb. Looks like I need to give him a call...

::026:: That's the same guy that made my custom seat for my old V Strom too. Great seat.
