The Beemer still does nothing for me.

Know somebody with the Ducati Dessert X and he loves it. Kinda pricey.

The Versus looks like a solid road bike but hardly ADV.

I’m obviously partial to the Guzzi. Like the new color scheme.

Keep seeing the T7 Rally being talked up. Probably nice.

I saw the new BMW at a dealer this week. It is ugly to the point of scary looking. Maybe that's the point? I'm not a fan of the boxers, good bikes I guess, just don't work for me.

Ducati is a good bike

Versys while I'm sure a good solid bike feels budget to ride and highlights all the flaws in Japanese motorcycles. They may highlight the strengths too but really awful to ride. My opinion is based on the 1000 doubt the 1100 is any different.

T7 is a T7 enough said. LHP turned 200k miles must be something right about it.

No Aprilia Taureg 660?

Of course I'm a fan of the Stelvio. Its a brother to my bike.

To me it was odd that the T-7 was in this group. It's way more dirt orientated than the rest of the group. And even though Long Haul Paul has gone crazy distances on one, it's not what I think of when cross country touring is planned.

The Beemer looks ridiculous. (to me) The Kawi actually looks pretty good. Was surprised to see the T-7 with all the other high dollar bikes.

That T7 is pretty impressive.... Once I saw that big bike handle the UT FMOH trail without a screaming clutch or boilover, I was impressed. Granted the big guy took some "bypass" lines, its a trail I'd never want to be on with a bike bigger than my KTM 300XCW, even if it was someone else's T7.

If KTM survives, I'm curious how the are going to implement the auto transmission option on the new SAS. Now that I've made friends with the DCT, I understand the benefits. Maybe it would help me to stop stalling my SAS when I stop.
No, never getting rid on my current one.

Saw an actual GSA1300 yesterday and they are truly as top-heavy, concrete block ugly as the pictures look.

I tested the Desert X at the TouraTech event... It was really fun ! Two things for me that are notes- the Desmo engine is a "no" for me (the new version next year will have standard valves)... and I guess the price "for what you get". If I remember correctly, it could be about $20 or just over when leaving the dealership... Out of spite - no way dude.

If I ever do anything else I would do a T7, I can probably rip it even harder off road and might even be able to pick it up..... LOL

I also sat on and looked at the BMW 1300 GS and the GSA....... FOR ME - they look terrible. That GSA is a big ass box truck. Im sure mechanically they are great, and another bike that has now in the ball park of $30..... I must be getting old - LOL
