25000 valve check

Has anyone in the northern UK had their 25000 valve check service carried out by a dealer.

Who did you use?, were you happy with the quality of their work?, how much did they charge?

Did you take the opportunity to retrofit the updated cam chain tensioner at the same time?

A little to far up for you,however Ian Bells at Bedlington did mine,I also had a service and brakes done,part of the deal I got when bought it.
I had 21000 thousand miles on mine I asked for this to be done as part of the deal,they gave me a invoice with the breakdown on it it was about £320 not bad for all the work that was done.

Took mine to Alf England http://alfengland.co.uk/ - Nigel there is great, and has a lot of S10 experience - they are the sponsors of Nick Sanders and did a complete strip and rebuild on his engine, just to see what was worn after 50,000 miles (not much!)
