I just got back from a 2200+ mile ride from my house, in New York, down Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway then to my brother's house in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Before I left I put my AirHawk/sheep skin in my boxes. I did not want to get "down the road" and find that my skin-over-bone ass was in serious trouble. Well, I did not need either. The seat worked perfectly. I had to do a lot of interstate riding to get there and back and the seat worked very well. One day I did 700+ miles and my ass was tired...not...sore!
I can say, from a personal perspective, that this seat was worth all that I paid for it. Now, I know, that there has been a lot of criticism of Seth for not getting seats back in a timely fashion.
Since he is a "one man operation" I would send your seat to him when your riding season is over. It will probably take him a month or so to get it back to you.
The quality of the seat is...excellent!
So, if you are looking for a nice seat for a fair price I would give him a ring/email. I have nothing, personally, to do with Seth other than having him redo my seat.
