Around 3k. 800 on a 2011 Ninja 250, 2k on my Z650, and ~40 on the S10. Best memory was probably riding to Mt Rainier with my wife and some friends.
I keep editing this to add more pictures lol. Another highlight was getting to ride alongside my wife after she got her permit.

I logged ~13,500 miles. Worst was a painful ankle/knee twist in sand on the TransWiAT.

Next worse was a double drop in mud on the Black Hills BDR-X. The second one landed me in a 2 ft Diameter fresh cow pile.

Best was riding 4 days riding in Colorado.

I put 9300 miles on this year, which actually surprised me; I thought the mileage would be higher.

Oddly enough, with that many miles, I only went on one actual trip: through NC, TN, VA and West VA.

I guess my most memorable motorcycle related thing this year was, on an anonymous stretch of North Carolina interstate, this happened:

And here she is, basking in the glory of a job well done...

Tenere. 14,607 miles
Goldwing 18,290 miles
Total. 32,897 miles
Nothing really bad happened, I did drop the Tenere at a Motel parking lot in Montana and absolutely no damage thanks to the T-Rex crashbars I switched to a few years ago, Tenere Guy picked the bike up by himself fully loaded in about one second !

8908 miles during 2023. Best ride…….Norway to the Nordkapp, all of it! Was spectacular and thoroughly enjoyable.

Didn’t really have any bad ride outs during 2023, although I do recall and very wet and coldish day heading south in northern Finland, a proper miserable day.

All things considered, 2023 was a good riding year.

A four year low of only 38,483 miles this year. My wife retired this spring so I knew it would be lower, "we can do a lot more things together now" and the grandkids are always wanting to do stuff with us.
Like going to the motocross track.

Every time I get on my bike it's a fantastic ride, but I would say the highlights are trips.
Like camping with my wife.

That TWAT ride with holligl and rodeoclone was fun. [by the way I took that picture of Glen lying in the sand]

The Wyoming BDR was pretty fun.

And I ride down into Missouri to camp back in the woods.

I drop my bike once and a while so that would have to be the Lows.
Like in the Wyoming mud.

Hoping for many more miles next year. I always bug Michelle about riding back to Alaska with me, But the big "But" is all them grandkids she is thinking about.

I rode 16,700 miles in 2023. Rode from Southwest Florida to Oregon to meet a buddy then we headed north to Tuktoyaktuk via the Cassiar Hwy and the Robert Campbell Hwy to the Dempster.

Fire had closed the Dempster when we got to Dawson City but luckily the road was opened the next day. Still encountered fires before Eagle Plains. Sure would like to make this trip when the smoke is not obscuring the landscape.

I don't think I will ever get this bike clean again!

18,000 miles across the bikes I owned in 2023. (10K on SAS, 6,500 on 890, 500 on BMW GS, 1K on the Spyder).
About 500 more miles on the bikes I don't own: Live Wire, FJR, Kaw Z900RS, MG V85TT, Gold Wing F6B, Kaw Versys 650
That's a pretty good year for me.

Worst of 2023: Pushing my bike across the Canadian border after the dead/dying stator left my battery incapable of starting the bike after the border guard cleared me into the country.

Best of 2023: That's tough. SAS - after a 12 year break, returning to ride the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. 890 - rediscovering the love of dirt riding. Putting myself in places I've been avoiding for many years...and really enjoying it.

Probably my lowest year ever with about 8,000 miles across 3 bikes.

Worst was a realizing how much I disliked the Triumph AFTER paying a lot of money for it.

Best was continuing to have somebody who wants to go riding together. Or seeing everybody again at Romney after our hiatus.

Gotta go start 2024 right.- Meeting a Bikes & Breakfast bunch for lunch after they come back from the January 1 Frosty Balls Ride. (I generally avoid group rides.)

How are you liking the MotoGuzzi? First chance I would like to ride one. Does it seem much lighter than the S10?

30,000 kms. I rode from Toronto to Mexico, Guatemala and Belize. It was an outstanding but, gruelling trip. Temps were 36C-40C! The S10 performed without issue. Learned how to scuba dive in Cozumel as one of the riders owns a dive shop there. The UGLY….in Guatemala, my GIVI Trekker panniers broke off the mount, after hitting a hidden tope (speed bump) at 80 kmh. Inside the bag contained ALL my cash, VISA documents from Mexico and Guatemala, TIP for Mexico , camera, clothes. I didn’t realize it had broken off until 15 minutes later. I was extremely fortunate to have found the area where I hit the tope. A family had picked it up and gave it to me on my return!

The tope had severely bent the pannier frame and mount. I used tie downs to secure BOTH panniers until I got back home. Very disappointed how cheap and unforgiving GIVI panniers are made.
