I'm pretty sure that we all want to know, is it looks like there is any change on the model.
Or if it looks like the previus model.

I hope I didn't lose my mind but I thought some people were saying that it wouldn't be a 2018 Super T.
And...
They've been on Yamahas eebsite for a while. Bold new graphics.

I found a Yamaha site that listed all the colors & key features. Then I noticed that the colors listed were "EU colours". It shows the '12 was "Viper Blue", BUT....it shows the '17 as "Yamaha Blue". And I'm guessing that Viper Blue "there" is Impact Blue "here". Apparently that is where my confusion stems from. Different pictures of different years showing different paint. I'm almost sure that the '14 did use "Yamaha Blue" also. I still don't understand why there isn't just one version of the same bike, world wide. I would think that it would be easier/cheaper for Yamaha.

wow.....where to start....first, I will leave it to others to discuss different regulatory issues in different parts of the world. Heck, here we have a significant difference just between California and the rest of the nation!

As color and graphics may go....there is a sensitivity at some levels between the NAFTA market and the EU market. Some areas of the EU go out of their way to show they are not American centric. From a product marketing stand point, the easiest thing to distinguish the two is color. My former employers had this issue. Most of the world used their products in a blue closely resembling PMS 3005C. For the EU we had to paint the product RAL 9003 white to differentiate the market. Even at a discount most in the EU would not take the blue. As far as cost goes, color changes in most modern paint systems is quick and relatively inexpensive. The major hassle is dealing with another SKU in paint along with routing and sequencing the correct colors thru assembly. All relatively inexpensive, just a bit of a PITA

Final comment, NEVER assume the color you see on the Computer screen is accurate. Too many variables in play to begin discussing. I had a very frustrating 3 month battle with TARGET about color matches on screen and finally convinced them to look at live panels while they looked at the screen- argument over..... sheesh

Wow is right. Maybe I'm a little naïve, but my post had nothing to do with geopolitics. Yamaha is a Japanese corporation making motorcycles for the rest of the world. I get it with the EU anti-theft requirements, and California's EPA restrictions, to name a few. But, I really don't think that somebody in the EU would not buy a Tenere because it was the same color as one in the US, or that their passenger seat was the same thickness as us fat Americans. Because there is an awful lot of Fords being sold over there if they're trying to show that they are not "American centric". It's just a bike....and I was just wondering.

There are several different blues in use on the Super Ten.

New this year, ('18), that I noticed at least, is black upper forks. They changed from a gold to a different gold at some point, but this is the first I recall seeing black forks. They seem to be overall trending to more black than when they first came out and a lot less silver trim pieces.
