Hi. Just chiming in as no one else has yet!
A few years ago there was a meet in the Uk. If you look in Uk:European under regional sections you will see it as I think it’s highlighted by being a sticky?
This was on the whole S10 specific as I recall.
I didn’t go as I’m not a big fan of these but have been to some in past also I’m not a camper. Like my comfy bed after a bike ride!
These take a lot to organise and in the past there has been some apathy on here in Uk for this type of thing. Good that you have asked about it and hope members chime in.

There’s a few of us out in the West Country then. Me in Somerset one in Devon and you in Sunny? Dorset. There used to be a couple of others but they jumped ship!
We often met in Lyme Regis if we are heading East along the coast so you can pick up with us on route. Would that be of interest. Saturdays are normal ride days but a couple of us can ride mid week too.

Hi Stridey. I seem to remember that you led some green lane ride outs? If thats ever a possibility mid week Id love to give it a go. Weekends are almost always impossible for me (work)

In the end didn’t happen but I’m still interested. The lanes locally are mostly hard pack and are ideal for our size of bike especially for novices. They are covered in field run off mud leaves grass moss in middle etc. So in effect are approaching a green lane. All these lanes are fully road legal. I will put a plan together over the next month or so and post up in the correct area of forum. You will need good dual sports tyres minimum eg tourance.
Thanks for reminding me. I’ll see if I can get a ride planned a month or so before the TD orienteering event in Wales.

I've just put this together...

http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=23746.0

Mountain roads and twisty passes with some easy single track stuff around the more obscure reservoirs of Snowdonia.. Plus you'l get to ride the famous Welsh Scalextric road... A ribbon of pure smooth tarmac thrown around a mountain.. ::26:: (Have I sold it yet.. :D)

Good food, beer and company.. Hopefully it'll turn into a regular meet with different locations around the UK.. Partners welcome.. :)

Sounds interesting. I've never been off tarmac on any bike, let alone my tenere, but I've always wanted to since I got it. Only easy stuff so the risk of dropping is relatively low and damage light if I do.
