Look closer. Real close. The 2015 has a hydraulic power unit creating the worlds first commercially available 2wd. It uses the front brake lines. Way cool. Lots of 2014s for sale now.... ::008::

It's nice to see a different color. I do wish they would offer the same colors world wide like the '14 Euro model in white.

The only thing I see different is the fake knee tank pads which IMO, should have been left the same.

I'm glad to see those knee tank protector decals on the 15. When I had my 14 ES painted white, we had to order the Euro decals from a dealer in the UK and those decals in particular were very expensive, over $100. We also ordered a pair for a friend with a white 13. Now they will be available thru USA Yamaha which should result in them being about 1/3rd to 1/4th the price. I had clear 3M in that area on my 12, which worked fine, but I like the black decals better. They help to protect the paint from scuffs from your riding pants.

Sadly, you are likely to be correct. Great colour too.

Yeah, those look pretty close. I just wanted to have mine exactly like the black/white 14's that were available in the rest of the world ,so went with all Yamaha decals.

Thanks.

The US get some really great colours, yesterday I saw a Kawasaki Vulcan 650 offering.......in LIME green, can you get that in the UK or EU, hell no, just boring black and a washed out white. ::009::

I think Kawasaki have particularly been mean which colours they have imported to Europe over the years. It could just be the European importers being overcautious ?

May they don't believe Europeans to be adventurous enough and would only like dull, blend in with the climate colours?
Or I'll wait and see if the chap in Calgary wants to sell his 2014 ES when the new one comes out ::013::

Oh man! Red is my favourite color. Anyone want to buy a slightly used 2014 ES?
Ya , I saw that red and fell in lust!
Real nice...but I am going out today to see what kind of deal I can get on a 2014.
After reading and talking to an owner re the vibe improvements I am going to revisit this.
One of these years I might actually jump off the fence and purchase. ??? ::)

Made an offer Sat on a new 2014 non ES...I was about $800 short...dealer wouldn't move on it so I left.
Nice guy though...honest and no pressure. I came up 500 from what I originally wanted to spend.
Sometimes ya gotta stick to your guns.

P.S. This WAS a 2014...sorry if posted in wrong thread.
