Just curious. You say below you had the ECU flashed. What difference did you notice on it afterward? I know on the first Gen bikes that was really needed, but I did not know about the second Gen.

I noticed a HUGE difference, mainly in engine braking and the sensitivity of the throttle. When i first got the bike I wasn't too happy with the ride, specifically for those two reasons. The ECU flash reduced engine braking to a much more tolerable level and the "sensitivity" of the throttle was also reduced making for a much more pleasurable ride.

Thanks. That is what I was wondering. I have noticed the jumpy throttle is smoothing out. I don't know if I am just getting used to it or things are breaking in. I still might consider getting the ECU done though. Thanks again!

I'm not too far from Canada! It would make for a good road trip back home LOL!
if it was only that. It was a simple way to say to much troubles. I bough my actual bike in USA but it was 12 years ago. It worth it at that time but not today. Our CDN money worth nothing, difference in price between US and CDN bike is not as much. Add 18% in duties because it is a Japanese bike and other taxes. Change the speedometer, two inspections, one federal and one provincial.....and can't ride it by law until all that is done. They call that the Canadian-US free act........ as a reference, there where about CDN6000$ for a tiger 12 years ago and about 2000$ today for a S.Ten.

Good luck and this will bump you up sir

It's an awesome bike! ONLY reason I'm selling is because my wife and I are buying our first house and I've got too many toys!
