I have a solid abs orange light as if the abs is ready to initialize waiting on emitter pulses.
Tried the procedure to read any fault codes 63 00 so none there.
Put in the paperclip did not get pulsing ABS light << I think this is the key to the issue.
Did the codes delete / reset.
Went through the repair maps and check voltages on the abs motor connector have full voltage and also did the step looking for continuity from start switch.

Any ideas?

This is the bike I just did the exhaust valve and bought as a bucket of parts. It is almost complete and the motor runs great. Maybe I didnt go far enough driving it as down the driveway and around a cultisac idling but concerned since test fails to make light blink. Voltage on the abs hyd assembly so assume no blown fuses.

No it should go off during that time. Mine is off within 30 feet. Did you check the big fuse for the ABS?

This will show you the fuse that if blown will pop on the light. When I turn off my abs (open the circuit) the light comes on even if I close the circuit. Once closed I have to cycle the key to reset everything.

I think I have another clue. Went for another ride and see that MPH is always 0 and range and current fuel mileage as well I am going to look at the pickups. I think I can run a diag that will show wheel pulses.

Also bimota outstanding post with fuse loc pics and another one with a list of fuse box loc's. It may be in the service manual but I looked probably not hard enough.
Will read through diags and maps

It is in the manual towards the back. Has the outline of the bike then parts in a circle around the bike with pointers going to the location.

Most all of these are known i ran it with tank up and had some cable issue. I will do a reset on diag just for 89 codes and continue. Looks like I can narrow down by unplugging hyd pump cable and seeing if "meter" which is op panel loses abs light or not. I think it will be a bad pump

Diag contents
61 62 63

TEST 07 and 16 FAIL record no wheel pulses front or rear

• Throttle grip is releasedOFFThis test always shows off and same on my 2018 so this is norml

Both of theses fail to record pulses.

still broke ABS module or Meter(display) per maps ot still on with bulkhead connector to abs pump off so they say its the display....

If so is bike mileage etc. held there is there a way to set mileage correctly of you replace it? Does it interfere with the security stuff or does dealer have to do magic?

the rear plate (where the rotation sensor is housed)...it is “anchored” to the rear arm?…it has happened to assemble the rear wheel without anchoring the plate, it rotates and breaks the sensor or the sensor disc

Was a bad hydro abs module. Problem solved thanks all!

note: book is wrong says if you unplug abs module and light stays on replace meter(display) light stays solid either way and is that pos abs.
