Does anyone know if the 2014 ES is showing up in showrooms yet. I'm in the Midwest so it might take a little longer to filter in. I put a deposit down a few months ago and was told by the Dealer and Yamaha it would be a June delivery. I have never been this excited about a Motorcycle in all my life..........or for that matter, anything else. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I dying..........

My dealer in Petaluma, CA still hasn't gotten one on their showroom floor. I was in the parking lot last Friday when mine arrived and I rode it away before anybody ever got a chance to see it. But they had to trade to a Southern California dealer to get it for me when they said they'd have it. Otherwise I'd still be waiting.

It's worth the wait, believe me!!! ::012::

Go to cycletrader.com and do a nationwide search, there are quite a few out there. Two dealers have them listed for a few dollars less than $13k!

Ha! Don't count on Cycletrader...... Most of the ads do NOT have a bike to sell. Only the ones with a unique photo, rather than the standard clip art pic, are going to have a bike to sell. When I ask them why they advertise a bike they don't have, they say the ads are computer generated and they can't control that.

You are right about cycle trader. I called two dealers whom had them listed and they are not in their inventory.

Here in a Meridian Idaho the dealer Snake River Yamaha, has had them for awhile. When I bought my leftover 2013 a month ago, they had a standard blue and a matte gray ES on the showroom floor.

I got my 13ES a month ago from greatwesternmotorcycles.com. Ask for Hal he traded with another dealer to get it. Said he could probably get another that way.

My ES is in! Picking up tomorrow.
So I went to pick my bike up.....ordered/paperwork sais "ES", standard is what they tried to give me. Now I gotta wonder if they are dishonest or just incompetent? Unbelievable!

What a disappointment! I hope they rectify it quickly for you.

Not to hijack the thread, but the ABS light stayed on as well. The bike only ran a few minutes, never put in gear, is this normal? He tried to tell me the ABS could be shut off, the light told me it was on.

ABS light will stay on until the bike gets moving. Perfectly normal. I do not have a 2014, but I do not believe that the ABS can be shut off. It definitely cannot prior to 2014.

Dealer just called, said he'd have the ES for me Thursday......fingers are crossed.

Quick response.....

There is a standard gray model available in Appleton, WI if anyone is still looking. It's ready to go.

I don't think my ABS light stays on until I start moving on my 2012. I do remember something in the owners manual about if the front wheel comes off the ground (a wheelie) it may shut off the ABS, or if you run it in gear on the center stand. There is a way to reset it in the owners manual, or this may be the traction control. May be an issue that needs repair too.
