I have a 2013 ST, and I have had the CCT replaced under warranty, and I ordered and replaced the clutch basket with the new 2014 model (reference 2BS-16150-00-00). The installation was very easy. The rocky noise has disappeared, but not completely. When idle, the lever clutch pulled, the engine does a nice "normal"noise. But when the lever is released and the clutch engaged, an inelegant rattling can be heard. And it hurts my artistic sense
At first, I though I screwed up the clutch installation, although I did everything by the book, using a torque wrench, and no spare part was left on the table at the end of the job. So I re-opened the engine and verified everything. All normal. And the clutch works fine. so the question is:
WHERE DOES THIS RATTLE COME FROM?
I am attaching the schematic for the clutch. I changed part 1 and 22. Is there any other part that may need to be replaced? The bike has 15,000 miles, and I am very gentle on the clutch (no off-road). Any suggestion welcome.
