I ended up going with the Parabellum Tall (25 inch). I"m 5'11'' with a 32 inch inseam and have the stock seat in the low position on a 2014 standard. I had originally gone with the medium version thinking I could "get away with it" since I was just on the cusp on sizing and didn't want a giant shield. It was a revelation (no wind noise, could hear the engine, still some wind on the shoulders) until I went over 50 mph and then I'd have a little leprechaun dancing a jig on my head. Made the exchange for the next size up( Parabellum was great) and the tall with the 2014 stock mount in the high position gives a quiet non buffeting ride and I can still see over the shield most of the time. I'm still switching back and forth riding my vstrom with a madstad and Givi tall, which I thought gave me great wind management, but this beats it. No issue with lock to lock steering hitting the shield at all. Nicely finished and not bad looking to my eyes. If I want more air, I can always drop the bracket, but it hasn't been an issue.
