They sold it before I got there even though I left them a message yesterday that I was coming by today and I texted them 10:15 and they sold it to someone coming from NM just after that that put a deposit over the phone. If they would have called me I could have done that.
But oh well, it looked like it had some shade tree rigging of the grip heaters and patch wires hanging out of the cowl. It had the original cam chain tensioner and so on. So maybe not bad.
Good news my wife agreed to increasing my budget for the AT.
What do you guys think about the Tiger Adventure?
Sounds a bit scummy on the part of the dealership, but if a large dealersjhip it may be a case of your sales guy got your messeage and didn't tag the bike and another sales guy got the call from NM. You should give careful consideration to Sierra1's suggestion. You don't have to buy tomorrow and there are deals out there. With a good maintenance history to check, you may even want to do a fly and ride from wherever the best bike is available. Don't limit yourself just because the first bike got sold out from under you, there is one out there with your name on it. Your location says Texas, but that's 268,597 square miles; you might want to refine it a bit, even if you only say north, south, east, west or central. Good luck with your search
