The time has come to sell my Super Tenere. It's a 2013 with 25,500 miles on it. Bike is in good condition and everything works as it should. Bike will be due for first valve check and I have factored this into asking price. Tires are at about 50%. The wiring harness recall has not been completed because the bike has never exhibited the symptoms related to this recall. A buyer could have this done free of charge at a Yamaha dealer if necessary.

Yamaha crash bars, side cases and skid plate.
Madstad adjustable windshield bracket with GPS bar.
SWMotech 30mm bar risers.
Altrider luggage rack.
Guards for headlight, water pump, rear master cylinder and driveshaft as pictured.
Some stock take off parts included like stock luggage rack.
Bike is in very good condition.
Bike runs and rides as it should with no issues.
$4500
Bike is located in Menasha Wisconsin. Clean, clear title in my name.

New to forum. Just picked up a 2012 for that in slightly worse shape with fewer extras. Would have been fun to fly to Wisconsin and ride back.

I never expected to have to justify listing a price that was too low. I listed it at $4500 hoping for a quick sale with minimal price haggling. Last year I bought a BMWR1250GSA and the dealer only offered to take it on consignment. This year I was looking to trade it on a SXS. all I got were low ball offers. So, here it is a nice clean bike at a good price. Lots of these on Cycle Trader and other websites with higher asking prices that aren't moving, Hardly a fire sale,

No need to justify, its a fair price. I agree with your statement that there are a lot posted for 5-6k and they are not selling. Gen 1's are harder to sell, everyone says to pay the difference for the Gen 2. I bought a 13 last fall and got a heck of a deal on it, much like you the seller just wanted to move it without a bunch of haggling. Good luck with your sell.

If your not worried about cruise control ect and you do the cam chain and clutch mod Gen 1's are a great buy.
