2012 Super Tenere for sale

You have to put some miles on a bike before you know if it will work for you. I’m 74 and have a bad lower back and even after considerable mods I will have to sell a really fun bike!

So here is what I am selling:

2012 Blue Super Tenere with 9,200 miles
Tom Simmons custom riders seat, passenger stock
Caribou panniers and top case with liners
MC Cruise ELECTRONIC cruise control
Kaoko cruise control, not installed
Parabellum windshield
Wasp windshield adjustable bracket
Yamaha heated grips
Wasp heated grip bracket
Dorian TPS (Tire Pressure System)
Alt Rider engine guard guard + crashbars
Clearwater Krista lights mounted on crash guards
Bags Connection GS tank bag and mounting ring
Hyperlites
Gadget Guy mount bracket with Touratech Garmin 550 locking mount, without the Zumo 550, I use it on my Wing too
Yamaha wind wings
Tech Spec bags
Rox risers
Pilot Road 3 Trail tires
1 gallon Rotopax with locking mount, can easily be changed to use passenger seat

Have over $22,000 invested.

All stock parts including the windshield also included

The bike was serviced at 600 miles which included to final drive, again at 3,000, 6,000, and 9,000 miles including final drive and synthetic engine oil was used.

If bought locally there is a prepaid service till 10, 2014

The bike is covered by Yamaha’s YES plan until 10, 2016

I have clear title and I am asking $14,000 FIRM. I will send more pictures to anyone interested in buying, I have several miscellaneous ones but will take any particular shots you want.

I am selling the bike as a UNIT (i.e. not interested in peeling off the accessories)!

The bike is located in Lubbock, Texas.

I'm not sure why this hasn't sold yet. It appears to be a smokin' deal.

Since all original parts are included, one could buy the package, sell the accessories they didn't want to put toward the one's they DID want.

If I didn't already have an ST, I'd buy this one in a heartbeat.

Guys, I appreciate the kind comments. The bike is as described and is just smoothing out, it just keeps getting better. Now if I could hold up my end we would make a perfect couple. Had someone from up Colorado way interested but felt a used Jap bike just doesn't hold its value and my price was too high. I have a Wing for my 3 to 6 thousand mile trips and the Tenere and I can get along for 200 hundred or so. Just got back from Arkansas and did a 500 mile day on the way home but the back was bothersome. One of the best Yamaha techs in the country has done all the work on the bike and just finished the 9,000 mile service which included air filter and final drive oil and Yamaha synthetic engine oil.

Sounds like Jerry out of Denver. He's been looking for about 6 months now without luck. Too bad, he's really missing a great bike.

Sweet looking bike (except it ain't black ).

I have the exact same side cases and like them a lot. I like what you did with the RotoPac, never thought about that.

Did you install the cruise yourself? That's about the only thing I really miss.

I'm pretty sure you won't have a difficult time selling with all the stuff you have added.

Everything was installed by a great tech at Watts Yamaha in Lubbock.

Bike is just getting better with miles!

Sounds like you really want to keep the bike. Any chance a kidney belt or some sort of support device for your back might help out?

Getting ready to plop down the $$$ on a new one real soon. Need to replace my 99 Blackbird I just sold Friday.
