I present my immaculately maintained 2012 Vstrom 650 Adventure with 13,799 miles. A new one is $10,049 before taxes and tags. This bike has some very nice comfort and convenience upgrades but no performance mods. The engine and transmission, which are legendary for performance and reliability, are bone stock.

New price: $5900 Title in hand.
WILL TRADE FOR FI 650 DUAL SPORT
Here is a list of accessory add-ons:
Givi AirFlow Windshield (goodbye buffeting) $215
Eastern Beaver PC-8 Fuse Panel - $97.95
Eastern Beaver H4 Dual Headlight Relay Kit with One Headlight Cut Adapter - $78.95
Eastern Beaver VStrom ABS Switching Adapter - $21.95
Rox 2” Pivoting Risers - $89.00
Adventure Tech Fork Brace - $59.99
Adventure Tech Foot Peg and Control Lowering Kit - $55.00
Adventure Tech V-Strom Auxiliary Shelf with two holes - $60.00
Augustus Wind Deflectors - $39.99
Happy Trails Center Stand - $ 164.95
Hyde ABS Skid Plate - $120 but discontinued
Captain Phun Luggage Handles - $45
Givi 30L Top Case – I cannot remember how much I paid for this. I bought it new and it fits a large full-face helmet.
Suzuki OEM low seat - $205
Vibranators - $109

I also have the OEM Adventure windshield, which goes with the bike.

I wish I needed a third DS and you were closer. This could be a very good deal.

This strikes me as a heck of a deal. Do you have it posted over at ADVrider? If not, you should do so.

I do. There is another 2012 Vstrom posted but it is not the Adventure model - no oem cases or engine guards - and it has 13k more miles AND he is asking more.

I had 2012 DL650ADV posted on advrider for a few months for $6500. No bites. Lowered price to $5200 for quick sale. Still no bites. Raised price back up to $5900, thinking maybe people were assuming something was wrong with it. Nothing.

Traded the bike in for $4200 on my new ST, the following day someone offered me $5500 cash. ::010::

Hang in there - if you can afford to hold the bike until the right buyer starts shopping, you should be able to get what you want out of it. It's a great bike, well farkled, and a fair price - if I was looking for one, I'd buy yours.

We're at the point in life where everything is paid off so holding it is not a problem. Thanks for sharing your experience.

NEW DEVELOPMENT - I will consider trade offers for a 650 single that is fuel injected. I am thinking Husky Teŕra or 630, BMW Sertao, KTM 690, etc.
