For sale is a 2012 V-Strom 1000 Adventure in excellent condition. Original owner.
14300 miles
This bike has been garage kept and is used to commute to work in clean weather only. I also work nights so the bike has probably only sat in the sun 24 hours in its total life.
Things that I have added to the bike:
- PWD Stebel Horn, so you can be heard at 139db.
- Jesse Panniers, not the cheap plastic ones from the factory.
- V-Stream windshield, and the original mini shield in a box.
- SW-Motech Crash Guard,
- SW-Motech stainless steel Engine Guard, not the cheap plastic one from the factory.
- SW-Motech Center Stand
- Ricks Fork Brace, helps keep the front end stable at highway speeds.
- Ricks Mirror Extenders, before adding them I was looking at my shoulders in the mirrors.
- New Rear tire.
Warranty work replaced the ECU to fix a known issue with surging at low RPMs
If someone wants to do a fly and ride I pick up from the airport. Fort Worth Tx
