Live off grid in comfort and style, while still motocross-riding your fun S-10!!! 1200 cc’s of Yamaha Power in your throttle hand!
For those who are seriously interested in spending months and years on the road (Boon-docking & Adventuring) I present my “Impact Blue” 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere AND my 2001 Windward Motorcycle Camper/Trailer! Please don’t freak out, the trailer’s all aluminum frame and excellent design make it much lighter than it would appear. It performs fantastically on the highways and once parked, the Super Tenere can tear off into the desert or mountain trails with ease! I have just concluded a year long journey around the west and north western United States and I’m ready to settle down and be a landlubber in traditional “sticks and bricks” again. However, my loss will certainly be your gain. The motorcycle is fully accessorized and includes a custom Chrome-Molly steel hitch system, along with Jesse Odyssey II oversized panniers and “pelican-like” topcase. Also included are: heated grips, Ram Phone Mount, high intensity Touratech flood lights, upgraded “World Crosser” package, Garmin GPS with the Garmin mount, Ricochet heavy duty skid plate, Rox Risers, battery tender hardwired, Touratech crash bars, awesome Wolfman canvas toolboxes mounted to the front crash bars to assist in lowering the center of gravity. There are also two mounted gas bottles (with carriers) and a Rotopax gas can included. Recently rebuilt front shocks along with 2 new tires (Heidenau K60 Scout on rear and Schinko Trailmaster E705 on front) make the motorcycle perform very well off road, as well as on road. Taller than stock windscreen with Touratech windscreen extender. Mileage is 53,000 and going up very slowly. The Trailer includes a king size bed, a 6 x 8’ screen room with an 8 foot tall side wall, and all with heavy duty marine grade canvas siding and heavy duty rubber flooring. The trailer has performed extremely well in the snow, the desert and the beach. The first $10,000 takes the bike, all the accessories and the trailer. The Motorcycle and Trailer are located in San Diego and will soon be moving to Sacramento by January 2020.
A short video which highlights the motorcycle and trailer’s features and benefits is included in the following link :
Thank you for looking and please reach out to me with any serious inquiries. I haven’t even listed it in the local paper. I just thought I would reach out to the Super Tenere community first.
