Hello Sir Titus
Your Tenere is just about what I've been searching for. If you were in Colorado, I'd be in your garage this afternoon. :) Are all the bags quick disconnect or just the top box? Curious why all the lights and a fuse block? I'm 6' 3", is the windscreen-medium-tall enough,? Guys my size use the Parrabellum 24". My wife always rides with me----does the top box interfere with passengers back on bumps and potholes? Hope you don't mind questions. I just sold my FJR, and found out questioning is just part of the deal.

Thanks, Robert in Lafayette----Co, not Louisianna

Blues Bob, Thanks for checking it out. If you cant ask questions what good is this forum. ::008::

Regarding your questions: the Jesse mounting system is designed to be quick release. You can have the bags off in under a minute with only the racks remaining. The top case acts as the back rest for your passenger. My wife finds the comfort of the box and the Tenere to be a huge improvement over the HD Road Glide that we had. The HD had a touring saddle and backrest. We rented the Twisted Throttle Tenere from GSM MotoRent before buying our own. She liked the comfort of it so much that she was the one who insisted that I buy a Tenere! The top box can be mounted in any position so I had her sit on the bike to determine where the box should be.

The fuse block makes it possible to have the electrical farkles always on or powered by the ignition switch. It also gives you the peace of mind that you have a fused (accessible) circuit as well as a clean install.
I used the fuse block to power the GPS and the J&M unit. Can you have to much light? As with most of the country we have a lot of deer. Seeing them early is better than later. Trust me I have done it both ways! Early reduces the "pucker" factor! I added the 910s because the LEDs did not give me the down the road light that I was used to. The LEDs make great day time running lights though. For what its worth, I think the Tenere has excellent lights from the factory.

Only you would know if the screen will work for you. Personally I like to look over the screen rather than through it. At 6' I run the MadStad bracket in the lowest position and find that I have good coverage with little buffeting. My wife tells me that she gets less wind and buffeting than on the HD.

Always happy to help. - Titus

Thanks to all who showed interest in this bike. Wife thinks that I should give back issues a little more time before parting with such a versatile bike. Sorry, shes already taken.

Titus, I sincerely hope your wife is right! I guess time will tell. She seems to know something. :)

Motoolfan, keep looking. Don't give up. There's a Tenere out there that belongs in your garage.
