2" ROX Elite Anti-vibe risers question

ALLRIGHTY THEN!! I ordered a set of ROX 2" Anti Vibe risers for my 2013. I just noticed that the handlebar will take either a standard 7/8" or a 1 1/8" bar if you remove the spacer. Here is my dilemma. The riser mount points to the OEM riser is a 7/8" diameter only. Has anyone taken the spacers from the handlebar bracket and put them around the OEM riser mounting posts to make it fit, or should I simply send them back and get the 1 1/8' x 1 1/8" risers? So basically I screwed up and ordered the wrong thing, just wondering if it will work anyway?

I have the second ones, looks like you could move the spacers down to the oem bar mount points and use the ones you ordered.

The shim should be interchangeable. Depending on how needy I was for them, me, I'd send 'em back for a swap.

Pretty much any other than specialty house product has something from China anymore. Is there a better US or European made product that is similar? I really want the anti-vibe on my handlebars with the 2" + rise for comfort and with the ROX I get both.

Bombman,
Please ignore the chinese reference. You don't know RonH. :)
He's the anti-farkler amongst us, and wears that badge proudly. And he especially despises handlebar risers. Any kind. Nothing to do with manufacturer. Lol

Roxy risers, of all kinds, are found on a lot of our Teneres. I have the 2" pivot risers myself. I didn't really need them, but I bought and mounted them just to torture my Tenere brother. :)

Chinese garbage with a capital G.
Hmmmm.... Makes me think of two different thoughts... One. How much Chinese content is there in the SuperT?... Bet it more than you think... and Two. Every Rox Product I have owned are very nicely machined pieces...

And... I am pretty sure Rox Risers are manufactured in the US.

Had a similar issue with some ex- GS12 Rox Risers I picked up for a song on e-bay. They seem well made and solid enough for me, chinese made or otherwise. Ended up making a pair of C shaped spacers out of some 3mm aluminium and fitted them between the top yoke clamp and riser and left the Rox supplied spacers between the risers and 7/8" handlebars. Job done :)
