$1200 Accessories and 2 year warranty - How does it work?

Looking to pick up a 2013, found a decent deal on one that the dealer is offering the current credits with. I understand the additional warranty and they just fill out the paperwork for it, but for picking out the accessories, how does that work? Does that include installation or do they just give you a box of parts? Do the parts have to be yamaha products? Is there a list of what I can choose?

it does not include installation but you get to choose any of the Yamaha Tenere accessories.

I had to pay $100 in taxes on the accessories. My total came to $1181 so I almost used up all of the $1200. No, they don't give you the remaining amount in cash or credit. They had to order most of what I picked and it showed up at the dealership about a week later. Installation is not included.....wouldn't have used it anyway.

I choose:
Tank bag - sold
Low seat
Tall wind screen
Side deflectors
PIAA lights
Under light bracket
K & N filter
Bike half cover

I asked my dealer if I can install the accessories myself. He agreed because it would cost him time and materials to have his tech do it and I already got quite a lot off the sticker already. I prefer to install these myself as I know it will be done correctly. And yes, I picked up a great big box from the dealer a week after I took delivery and spent the next two evenings in the garage wrenching. I chose the PIAA lights (fog), engine bars, wind deflector, GPS mount and skid plate. I think I spent like $1180 or so.

You have to pick the accessories prior to signing the paperwork. Also for $300 more you can buy 4 yr warranty, it is special going on now.

Accessories, I bought were rear hard case, tank bag, skid plate, and PIAA fogs.

I asked about the 3 additional years os YES for $300 and they are giving me that as well. I will probably ask for the crash bars, PIAA spots, skid plate, tall shield and deflectors.

Mine are not listed separately, just part of the price. I just went to parts and picked them and they ordered it for me.
Warranty is directly registered with Yamaha and you will get the paper later. But it is listed on the dealer paperwork that you paid for it.

As far as I see everything that is covered under the 1 year factory warranty.

Grey. Color shouldn't effect cost. I liked the darker color better.

Yes, they will let you pay the difference and after the order came in they let me swap some stuff.
