side stand

So, I am attempting to remove the S10's Side Stand Nut and bolt in order to clean and lube it. But cannot for the life of me remove or even loosen it. I tried with an impact driver and wrench. Is there some trick to this? Is it a reverse thread? I assume the previous owner or the dealer...
