If the bike was let say a year old and had plenty of thousand miles on it i would understand and probably go along with the spokes being replaced. But the problem started after 2 weeks already so i think they ow me more then refurbished wheels.

Just found out on a French ST forum that there are more bikes suffering from the same problem.

Yamaha never mentioned this was issue but i would be surprised if i was the only one with this problem. I'm heading for the dealer this morning to hear what he has to say.

Long and frustrating story but i'll try to keep it a short one so here goes ...... 2 weeks after i picked up my new ST at the dealers back in august i noticed that the chrome was coming off the spokes (on both wheels). A week later i had an appointment at the dealers for the first oil change...

Last week i called Yamaha Belgium and they told me that distribution of the top case would be continued very soon and only a minor adjustment would be needed to the base plate. Let's wait and see...........again !!!

Have one of these. Used it on my GS and now on the Ten. Great for long tedious highway trips. Would i replace it if this one gets lost? ...... nope?

Last sunday i finally was able to install the SW Motech "nonshock gps mount" witch i ordered 3 weeks ago. Yesterday evening i took the damn thing back of again. Nonshock ???.....yea right ...... it dances around like it has a bug up it's ... and after 20 min driving around the gps screen is...

Our Yamaha importer, witch i called today due to accessory delivery problems, confirmed me today that all delivery's of the top case are stopped and won't resume before 2011 because of safety problems with the luggage rack.

I ordered the gps mount from "Motech" specially made for the S10 (see link below). It should be delivered next week, i'l keep you guy's informed...
