Last time I had fork seals done the dealer said I may have continued leakage problems due to some wear spots on the chrome. Are there better aftermarket options for the tubes? Or just get some used tubes? Thoughts?

I'm not sure what you mean by "regular style rim"..They just quoted me about $475 for an OEM rim (apparently only one left in the states?) plus $195 for labor...plus of course shipping as they're a few states over. I'm going to hold out for my tax return to return and go for that used wheel on...

I was shying away from replacing just the rim and have it laced, as I've heard of many stories where it went wrong. But if these guys are recommended I'll for sure see what they say.

Well, a while back I got the dreaded rear wheel rim crack. It started leaking is how I found it. Well, I thought (mistakenly) that a good way to have it fixed would be to get it TIG welded. Had the welding done by a local shop for $50, and they did a great job. Rode around a bit and it seemed...
