Re: 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere FS - Ohio $10,900 takes all
Careful; you might have a stampede to your door if word gets out about that ammo. ::)
And I agree. Seems like a pretty good deal considering all the add-ons. ::26::
What he said. ::026:: I enjoy having 5 completely different Bikes in my one garage. IF I had a second base location I pick a duplicate most suited for the local roads.
You might investigate the hardness of the shield material on the Nolan. Have had 2, last purchased about 6 years ago. Shield scratched way too easy, and was replaced. I seldom use that helmet any more.
Re: Slightly related
I've had two Nolans'(Italian) and I like the fit and the glove friendly quick-release buckle but the shields scratch-up way too easy. No more.
Agreed on M/Cgear service and prices. Have seen the D30 armor. Their Hip armor not the desired shape. Working on my own idea. Will report findings IF successful.
Welcome as well, from a prospective S10 Owner. I was born and raised in Lexington area. Like to take 3-4 trips each year up there to visit family and friend.......and to ride some very good roads in northern and eastern part of the state.
I appreciate the Posting as well. But I havta say, at least when it comes to pants, more expensive doesn't always translate to better armor. My case-in-point; Olympia Brand hip armor vs. Sliders hip armor.
I'll take the $80 Sliders any day. Larger area, much tougher foam, and way easier to...
SC = South Carolina
I'll assume no one else caught the segment so no use prolonging this thread.
Here is a link to it, just in case anyone wants to see it; http://abc.go.com/shows/nightline/li...ity-separation
Relating to the "is this guy alive" thread; did anyone see the Nightline segment on SC Bikers last night?
They planned on blocking off a 6-lane bridge on a Sat. just so they could do some stunts. I don't(nor do I care) to know this mindset. Must be where the perception that all Bikers are...
I putted thru BB in March(2013) and it was 90.......at 10:00 AM. Loved the Observatory Loop north of Marfa. Cooler, and shouldn't we mention the Marfa "Lights"?
Agreed! The S10 sounds like the most versatile Bike for the wide variety of TN roads. AND one of the most comfortable when you wanna explore other states.
Potential owner here after dealer demo ride Sat. Thought I'd better do a little/lot more research in order to be an informed buyer. I'm in middle Tenn. and have had overwhelmingly positive results with other Yamahas.
