My s10 new to me has a rear Tourance EXP. Its up for replacement, from what iv read it does not last well. So have been looking at alternatives. The conti, battle wings, Tourance and K70. They all get good reviews depending on what you like. So how do I decide? And what would you recommend...

My new (to me) s10 has an OEM engine guard, with spot lights attached. I see no need to replace this at the moment. But am concerned about the tank and fairing in the event of a drop. Can I add further protection such as the Touratech Gurads or the sw motech bars? Or are there other options...

After much research, today we travelled a 650 round trip to Len Manchester in Melton Mowbray. Who I would highly recommend and came away with a S10. She will be ready in a week to come home with us. I'm based in Cornwall if anyone is ever down this way.

Whats the best crash bar protection- are the Yamaha ones ok? Some bars seam to cover the engine others cover where the radiator is. This whole area would appear to suffer in the event of a drop. Is it possible to put both on?

Ok, Apologies for another post. I think this bike is really sexy, looks the part and looks built to last. But lots of reviews say that the engine runs flat and is not exciting. Especially compared to the Triumph. Is it boring? Will it continue to excite? Will I still be smilling in a years time?

So we're just about to buy our first big bike and plan to head of to Spain in Nov via France for some sport climbing. Also planning to head to Morroco, Mallorca, Eastern Europe etc etc. All 2-up and full kit. Ill also be using it for my journey to work which varies in distance but often a 80mile...
