Thinking my rear shock may be a little tired (2011 20k miles) is the original unit rebuildable and if so any recommendations for the UK ?

Posted in another thread re impending brake pad change. I’m also going with new tyres (AT41 ordered). I’ll take the wheels in loose and I’ll change the pads whilst the wheels are off. My question though , in anticipation of working on the bike I’ve gone over all the nuts and bolts involved today...

New pads going in. Seem to recall some saying the EBC HH rear wear the disc out quicker , true or false ?
