I’m considering getting the Yoshimura RS-4T slip on pipe, $570.00 on amazon. My reasons are that it’s within my budget and I’ve heard it sounds good. That’s it. Those are my reasons.
let me know what you guys think, are there better options? Is this the pipe for me? Am I wasting my money?
Problem solved!
A few months ago I lifted the tank to change the air-filter. Turns out that in the process I tilted it too far back and loosened a wire to the fuel pump. I guess the vibrations from the next +-200 miles of riding further loosened it all the way.
This sounds like what I’m dealing be with. It only happened at a stop or low revs. At slightly higher speed she ran fine. Oh boy, I hope this doesn’t become expensive.
My 2014 with 41K miles on the clock has been running like a dream. Until today.
Went for a ride this evening, about 1/4 mile from home she stalled, I thought it might have been my fault, then she stuttered for a second another 1/4 mile down the road but came back to life with no issues for the...
Those numbers are insane!
Here I am with a 2014 that I bought with 35k on the clock, have put another 10K on and every time I ride I always keep a paranoid ear open for any possible issues.
I guess I just need to chill and have faith in my girl's reliability.
Alright, I'll give this a go.
By the way, what is that kind of plug called? I tried to google a fix for this but only came up with answers for 120v household plugs because I couldn't word my search correctly.
So I tilted my fuel tank a little too far back and pulled a wire out of a plug (from the fuel level sensor, I think).
Is there a way to get this wire back into this plug myself or do I need to buy a new one?
